Three Quick Things

A list, a class recording, and a teaser

My posts are never short! I try to write a short one and I upload it and then it gets listed on Substack as, like, “a forty-minute read”… But this is an actual quick post!

Three things:

1. 2. I got to partner with Eventbrite to make a curated list of literary and literary-adjacent happenings in Chicago over the next month—everything from readings to live lit events to Japanese paper-making to a bus tour. Below is the not-quite-TikTok I made to introduce it, and here’s the link to get the app with the list.

3. I’m going to be leading a retreat this fall in a place that is ridiculously beautiful and not in the US. I’m supposed to open registration in a limited way, and my tech-unsavvy attempt at this is is to post the details below the paywall. (If you’re dying to know and aren’t a paid subscriber, you can maybe get there with some deep internet sleuthing, and/or I’ll be posting it publicly soon if it isn’t full!)
